I'm thinking about Dragon Dice

If I read this right Jeb, *you're* giving up all this to get Blackbeard? If so, you're getting ripped off. That's a nice set of dice.

On the flipside, if you're trading Blackbeard to get all that, go for it.

No, I'd be receiving dice. The guy might say, "oh no, those are all the dice on offer, pick the ones you want of value", or whatever the hell, but I'll play the innocent.

Damn that's a lot of dice! That's is a REALLY good deal. I traded Galactic Emperor in the Arms Trade and only got two 24 point armies. So I say you are making off like a bandit!

Hmm ... what came in the original starters? The current ones have 5 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 rare, 1 monster for two factions and then 2 dragons and 4 terrain dice. They retail for $18.

You are scoring goooood. And I am officially jealous. Unfortunately I unloaded all my unwanted stuff in the Arms Trade.

Game store got in some more Dragon Dice today. I picked up a Coral Elves/Lava elves starter so I can put together a proper 36 point single race army for each. Tonight I made some armies, both pretty focused on magic, maneuvers and melee. Then I played solo to see how they do. Granted, it's easy to not use either side to their full extent, but they seemed pretty balanced as I could not get either side to win.

Also, when playing games where each side has 2 dragons, having 1 ivory dragon and a dragon of another color is the way to go. Dragons won't fight ivory dragons, they "see" them as being their own color so you can drop both dragons on one terrain and they will rip armies apart instead of dragon vs. dragon.
