I haven't seen a real copy yet either. After seeing the pics on that other web site, I'm not too thrilled by the look. I suppose they were going for a modern war room battle map look. I think I want to see the real thing before passing judgement on the visual appeal.
Finally got the new version on the shelves at local stores. After taking a look at the box, all i can say is....eh. With 2210 and Star Wars on my shelf, the urge to snag this one has pretty much died off. I'm not wild about the arrows used for troops instead of something that looks like troops. I'm definitely interested in trying out but am prefectly happy to wait until I bumb into someone who has a copy.
Well, it's here and I bought it. Definitely seems cool. But haven't had the opportunity to play. Am waiting for that Michael Barnes review, however...

Anyway, I find this interesting... Hasbro puts out all of these limited copies of Black Ops which everyone then turns around and sells to the highest bidder....and then noone reviews it!

In my case it's a negative ROI.
Why would I buy the 'standard' copy when I know there exists a much nicer copy? I may have got this if it was the only version, but as it stands I lost interest since I'd prefer the much nicer looking black ops one.
I don't know who was the marketing genius behind that promotion....
Really? You thought the "mass release" gameboard wasn't any good? I kinda liked it. Anyway, I am curious to see how the cities and capital cities will change the game.
