I played a few games of Race for the Galaxy real time with randos. Lost them all by about 4 points each. It was more stressful than fun and my computer was laggy, so I stopped.

It works well enough on my iPhone. Rallyman gets a little weird with having to zoom in and out, but others seem to work pretty well (Kingdom Builder, Thurn & Taxis, Crew, Targi)

Is the BGA mobile app any good, or do y'all just use the website?

I use the website. I didn't realize there was a mobile app.

I was vaguely aware that there was an app, but forgot about it. I remember that there is an issue with the app and Rallyman — the Rallyman module has an occasional bug where, on the roll that makes you cross the finish line on the final lap, it will tell you that you need to go play one of your other Rallyman games before you take your turn in this one. On a browser, this is annoying but not that big of a deal; you just open a new tab, take your turn(s), and come back to the original.

But on the app, for some reason it forgets that you are in the original game and will never take you back to it when you click “go to my next game.” So you end up timing out and losing unless you remember to check on a mobile/desktop browser, or one of the players takes pity on you and send you a DM with a link to the table.

The only game I have issues with is 7 Wonders Duel. The screen tries to auto-scale every time you zoom in, which makes zooming in useless. And if my phone is in landscape, tapping on a card brings up tooltips instead of the options to purchase, discard for money, or use to build a wonder. So I have to tip my phone over into portrait mode to actually take a turn.

My friend Matt and I are going to play Rallyman GT this weekend. It's new to both of us. I read the rulebook, which is pretty good except for the part about reallocating your dice after a LOC going flat out. There are no examples or pictures for this part and it was baffling to me, had no idea what it was saying to do. I asked about it on BGG and watched part of a video and it was then made clear. So soon I'll have Rallyman in my portfolio.

I was looking at the options for user avatars and four of them come from It's a Wonderful World. I got charged up because I really enjoy IAWW but it's not one of the games they offer. Not sure why they're copping art assets from it.

Rallyman is a top-tier racing game. I have 60 plays in on BGA and I’ve never so much as seen a copy in real life. I can set up an asynch game on BGA if people are interested.

I've never played Rallyman on BGA, although I've played plenty in person. Sign me up.

I'm always up for Rallyman as well. But don't feel like you need to include me every time if you want to keep the number of racers lower.

I now have some newb games under my belt. If an async game of Rallyman is being set up please add me!

Though the time zone issues might keep me from playing with people stateside unless you are night owls, I can probably play with some European friends. I've played VERY little on there though, basically just 7 Wonders Duel and I think maybe Can't Stop at some point?

For those of you who like to shoot at each other, there are two wargames on BGA, Unconditional Surrender which I haven't played, and Talon, which I've played plenty. The Talon implementation is in Alpha, but fully playable.
