We need to get a full-blown, no foolin' F:AT convention together one of these days.

I really think that is doable. A lot of invitationals started that way.
Airfare is not too pricey if you watch for sales. All it takes is people willing to commit.

I bet we could get Richard Simmons to be guest of honor at a FAT convention.

It was a blast when Steve had Gary, Billy, Zev and I down there this spring. In the Midwest, though, it isn't as easy...heck, I have to drive 2.5 hours to an airport. Minneapolis would be great. But it is easier than for those out of the States.

I'm looking forward to demoing TToA to its target audience. I think it's best to limit the # of players to 4 per session since it'll be a learning game, though, so we may need to roll or arm wrestle or Krav Maga duel for spots at the table (except for our hostess, who of course gets first dibs). I'm totally happy to run one session after another if there's enough interest and time.

And once you're happy with it then maybe you can get some international testing done ... ;-)

Good thinking Tom! Canada first, of course.

C'mon - you're all the same country, ya only have to walk across a line and you're in the US - Hell, you're just their quiet step-siblings !

It used to be that's all you had to do. Get in the car without any smokes, produce, or weapons, and you could cross the border (almost) no questions asked. You could drink at 19 years of age, gamble, get cheap smokes, and go to strip clubs. You could order a beer, give the bartender $20 USD, and get $20.50 CAD back in change. Good stuff, though I (somewhat regrettably) never went to the strip clubs.

Post 9/11, it's not such a great day trip. Good-bye cheap smokes and Caffrey's Irish ale.
