Euroquest Roll Call

Alright folks, I am green lit for going to EQ up in Maryland for 1 day! New baby precludes anything more, but I'm pretty stoked. So WHICH day is it gonna be? Saturday or Sunday? Anyone else going at all?

Kingput? Dogmatix? daveroswell? Malloc? Seen you there before...

Would really love to play any number of games, but recently TI3 has been foremost in my mind (only played once) and would love to get in a 4 hour power game that I've heard so much about.

Also I have a nice new copy of Cosmic Encounter that I've never tried.

Plus tons of other shit I dont even own. Maybe even so Essen hotness if it's there, but more than likely it would be all the eurofied stuff.

All I can say is, this year: no Dominion.

Sorry, I'm only going to be there for a few hours on Friday. Friday night, November 5th I'm flying off to England with a suitcase full of games to see Southernman.

I'll be at EQ most of the time. I'm not keen on TI3, but I'll play tons of other stuff. Send me a PM if you want to arrange something: Doom, Age of Steam, Ravenloft, DungeonQuest, whatever.

Not sure whether Malloc and the rest of the gang will be there. His brother Bobby Tweaks will definitely make an appearance.

Also, I'd suggest coming up on Saturday. Sunday is more of a winding down day at EQ, with lots of attendees leaving early.

I am however planning on doing ConCon in March. I need to get with Loter to make that happen and to find out what kind of behavior will earn me a Krav Magna nut punch...

EDIT: and whenever I come up, it'll probably be bright and early to maximize gaming, so hopefully there's some early birds around - either not too hung over, or still drunk and awake. Either works.

Watch out for the fireworks when you land - Nov 5th is Guy Fawkes night in the UK, commemoration of the failed plot to blow up parliament and a general excuse to let of fireworks and cause trouble if you're that way inclined (not Steve Avery type of trouble but the 'set something on fire and wait until the fire brigade arrives and then shoot large fireworks at them' kind of trouble).

And as for Euroquest - can I moan again how you guys have too many cons where you actually get to go and play games with cool or normal people.

I *love* cheap drinks. And many of them. All will be forgiven for a couple of shots of watered down lighter fluid.

Southerman - when are you going to travel stateside for some epic gaming? If you come during the summer we can hit some big cons and/or roadtrips. Just saying...

I like to maximize my gaming time, so I'm also an early bird. Others should be around as well.

Pretty much these are my never played or rarely played games. I use cons as my learning time because I'm "the game guy" in my circle.

I can bring both the Original Star Wars Trilogy risk and the second "Playtest" expansion - We Didn't Playtest This Either. I'm borrowing KingPut's copy of Magical Athlete, but I may have to return it by the time the convention rolls around.

I just placed an order for the two latest Playtest expansions (dice, blue cards), so I likely won't have those in time for EQ. Unless shipping is faster than expected.

Note also that Canton games (vendor) is accepting pre-orders for EQ. Pre-orders get a 30% discount.

Okay, so cemented with the wife that I'm going to come up Saturday from 9-5, so no late night drunken shennanigans this year for me.

But let's meet up wkover. We will bring the house down! Also, let's make sure KP "forgets" you have his copy and bring it along. He wont need that in merry old England I'm sure.
