You may have to email one of the organizers to be sure that a specific game shows up, however.

I notice that the library page isn't up to date. GCOM now has The Adventurers in their library, for instance.

The GCOM founder used to bring his entire personal collection of games to Game Days/EuroQuest. However, he had problems with his games not being properly returned - and also problems with game transportation and convention storage space - so he eventually stopped doing this. So now only the official GCOM library games (all of which were freebies, donations, or games that were left behind) are brought to the con. Bummer, as you point out, since the selection isn't great.

Yeah, I mean I would think it'd be hard to maintain a nice library at all, so even having the option is cool. It's just that almost none of the games appeal to me.
In other news, I'm getting really stoked to try out 7 Wonders at EQ. I (and my wife) are pretty big Dominion fans and I'm hoping this is in that realm (while obviously different). Plus it plays up to 7! Not a lot of games, let alone shorter ones, do that. If nothing else, I'll be glad of the chance to play this before pulling the trigger blind.

Malloc is the only person in our group who owns Runewars, I think. He loves his coffin games.

Looks like I'll be able to take off Friday and come up.
I probably won't be able to learn how to play High Frontier by then, but if someone happens to know how to play I'll have my copy, along with a bunch of other random stuff.

Lucky bastard, my copy hasn't arrived yet. My obsession for it as already boiled over into reading his 30 year design journal , making sure I've several read the rules times, and gone through the play examples . Hopefully you'll lure at least 2 others to play.iguanaDitty wrote:

This is mostly for myself so I can remember what to pack, but here's what I'm bringing for those interested...

I'll consider it a success if I can learn/play through Cosmic Encounter and/or Mall of Horror well enough to come home and introduce/teach either to my family to enjoy.
