It's not even worth pretending I'm going to be able to resist buying these.

Well I've just lost my job but I had the credit card out and Starcraft ordered quicker than you could say dole bludger ! Plus it gives you an excuse to drive into Bristol if you feel like saving the charity a courier fee :-)[/quote]

I actually offered to go pick it up but they just dispatched it to me. So they're obviously not worried about the postage costs.

Thanks for the heads up on these via email by the way. Neither is going to see table time for quite a while, I suspect, but if I keep them in shrink I'm in a no-loose situation as I can probably sell both for a profit if need be.

Matt - my Starcraft arrived in an HMV box, I'd be interested to know if yours arrived in the same just to see if it was them who donated all the copies to CLIC.

Sort of. The box was unmarked but had both HMV and Sony branded packing tape on it. On mine it looked like the Sony tape was the "original" and the HMV was added as an afterthought. So it might not be HMV, but these clearly originated from some music or hi-fi retailer!

Bugger! I only managed to resist for ten days...
(My resolve got nuked because I had a £20 voucher from ebay, so the game only cost £4.99.)

Sorry, can't add anything to your investigation as my copy wasn't put in a box, just wrapped in brown paper.

They do a 1-price ship for all order sizes so you need to have large orders to get the most of the prices.

I'm starting to hate the book depository. I keep buying games from it just because they're so phenomenally cheap and then they don't get played. I've just fallen for Innsmouth Horror but at least that should see some play.

Anyway, BSG Pegasus is now in stock for anyone interested. Not a huge discount but still the best price around, especially considering the free shipping:

I'll be in London on Wednesday. Don't know whether or when I could ship something.

Edit: By the way, for wargamers the best deal on this list is "This Terrible Sound" for 55 quid.

You could paddle across the channel on it and save on the price of a ferry ticket.

No, I don't need TI3, just saying whether someone else would be interested. I doubt they'll still have it though.

I'll probably go there to pick up April's Harvest though.
