Trashdome - Last Night On Earth vs A Touch Of Evil

Last Night on Earth.

Yeah, I know I'm late, but I'm out of town with sporadic wifi, and just wanted to add my vote to the drubbing. I've already talked up LNOE in other threads recently, so I won't elaborate much... I do think it's a terrific game, though, with great accessibility (my wife loves it, which I totally didn't expect), some decent tactical decisions and some nice cooperative elements like sacrifice and heroism (one person taking on a horde of zombies, knowing they'll likely get eaten, to make sure the others survive or complete the objective). It depicts its subject very well, cheesy B-movie though it is, and often comes down to an intense finish (though admittedly, when it doesn't finish closely, it can be kind of lame).

Well, it is Friday and this edition Trashdome is ending. It looks like it really is the Last Night on Earth for A TOUCH OF EVIL.

I'm going to spoon my copy of AToE quietly, waiting for the end to come.

we ought to have trashdome for winners of trashdome soon. these lopsided matches are hilarious, but a bit boring.

Boo on trashdome for winners of trashdome. Seems to me part of the point of trashdome is to talk about games, and if we've already said all we wanted to say about a game, there's no point to putting that game in the dome again.

One of my friends is now famous for his penchant for plans in LNOE that require heroic sacrifice...but never his own sacrifice, and his "chosen" never realize the full extent of his plans until it's too late. And then he gets all the credit anyway.

To me, any game that can have a plan like that come to fruition is a GOOD game.


Also, boo times two to winner's trashdome. Unless they'd be good matchups for a reason other than they both won.

There's a lot of people at TOS who think F:AT is just a bunch of Barnes groupies and FFG fanboys. If that was the case this site wouldn't lasted more than a month or two.
