Trashfest NE 2015 Wrap Up

Every year we do a 4 day gaming weekend for my Birthday and call it Boothcon - We usually have between 10-15 gamers come in over the weekend - Maybe I should consider doing a PNW Trash-Con.

Now that I'm gainfully employed and can afford the obscene prices, we can hit up Shady Glen anytime.

Excellent write up. But in your 2nd to last photo of Space Cadets, the map looks like the Sol: Alien Super -Lab set up from the Kick Starter book that's too long to fit into the box but there's too many hexes. Shouldn't there be 2 hexes removed, like there is in the 3rd to last picture?

The big question is will all this glowing praise get the elusive, and perhaps imaginary, Gary Sax to come up to New England and have the best gaming experience of his mythical life?

ha, yeah! The first one I came by legitimately with my dad's brain injury (I lost the flight and hotel money to prove it!), but chickening out of Sag's thing and last week was all work stuff.

I put all my tenure materials in at the end of next year. If I get that... let's just say my ability to spontaneously fly to places on mid semester weekends increases substantially. My plan is to try to make the next trashfest.

I would love to go sometime -- but two small kids hinder that. Also, a job that beats me to death like fucking John Henry's hammer (I need to make some type of change).

I had set aside two days of vacation to go to the Fest, but work was too much this year. I truly hope to come to the next.
