USAopoly to Publish Two New Versions of Talisman
CARLSBAD, Calif. – Feb. 6, 2019 – USAopoly®, a premier publisher of hobby, party, social and family board games and puzzles, and Games Workshop®, the world’s largest hobby miniatures company, best known for Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000, today announced plans to develop licensed versions of the critically-acclaimed adventure board game, Talisman.

Talisman is wasted as a mere hobby game. Definitely one of my son's favorite games.
I think the adventure Time version of munchkin is about the only time I'd play it. It's still munchkin, but the theme ties so well with it that it helps the gameplay a lot.
It's one of the few times I can think of where the theme helps a game design so well.
An adventure Time version of talisman would be ideal precisely the same reason. It might be the only way I get an analog version of talisman.
Now that the series is over, I wonder if companies still clamor to license it.
