That is a BIG delay, currently TG is only six months late with a Nov 2020 date but not holding any breaths.

I'm expecting wave 1 of Etherfields later this year. What they've shown looks very pretty indeed, and at least as ambitious as TG. Let's hope it hangs together.

Andi Lennon: To me, your most telling criticism is that the need to service the Menhirs takes too much attention away from exploring the many possibilities and quests that the game offers. If I'm ever able to afford this game, I intend to give Menhirs 12 or 13 turns rather than 8, to leave me time to explore the game's delights.

In order to adopt such a house rule, I must, of course, understand why I'm playing this game. My goal is not to get the great satisfaction of being able to say, I followed all the rules, and I won! My goal is to enter into the fantasy world that this game creates, and enjoy living in it. (If I become skillful and want to replay it again, I might even lower the Menhir count a little, for a greater challenge.)

Do you still own your copy of TG? Perhaps I can afford to buy it from you. Please message me, if you are willing to sell.

Well looks like I may get a bundle at the same time as you, the PM has re-opened for it and I have read through the KS page again and thought 'Hey, I think I want to play this game !'. Don't know what my reason was for not backing it 18 months ago - financial, didn't read it thoroughly or follow the updates, or maybe my tastes or recreational expenditure limits have changed but I'm up for a copy now .


And had an email from Gamefound a couple of weeks back asking me to confirm my delivery address for TG so maybe I'll see that by Christmas ... just need our COVID restrictions to drop off so I can have people come around and play it .
