I see you didn't rate Classic Dungeon very well. How is it different than regular Dungeon? And Barnes, you're the Dungeon expert, is Classic Dungeon worth a shot? So either that or maybe some Shadowfist cards.

I, ummmmm, don't suppose anyone has a copy of "Betrayal at House on the Hill" they're looking to trade?

(Yes, I had about a dozen opportunities to pick this up at Toys-R-Us for $20, and kept putting it off, and I feel like an idiot.)

Good luck with that one man. I fell into the same "idiot trap" you did. I finally acquired a copy recently, but, now, I'm hoping to get a functional human left arm and leg in some future math trade to replace the one I had to use for payment.

Regular Dungeon had Hero, Superhero, Wizard, and Elf. Each had X amount of treasure thresholds to win. Superheroes and Wizards had an easier time in the harder parts of the Dungeon (5th and 6th), but they also needed a lot more of the monies in order to win (wizard needing 30,000 worth of stuff, 20,000 for the Superhero).

Classic Dungeon did away with the Hero, Superhero bit and changed some things up. You have Wizard, Rogue, and Fighter (I'm going off of memory of a game I haven't played in ten years). The other thing that was changed was that you could ASSIST or AMBUSH other players, something you could not do in the original game. Alas, with that you also lost the solo rules and a LOT of the bookeeping (i.e. the paired number chits to designate a monster undefeated in a room, for example). It's an okay game and the only reason why I am reluctant to part with it is because I want to play it with my son (who's 4 1/2, not up there with fully understanding the game). But, that's kind of a weak argument. As for the Shadowfist cards, I can give you enough cards to make several decks and I have a lot of the Limited, Standard, Flashpoint, and original Netherworld. Just tell me what you decide and we'll take it from there.

Sorry Senor Ocho,

I've combed all the local game shops and bookstores for Netrunner cards. All I could dig up is 10 booster packs. No one had any more starter decks or Proteus packs. Not quite enough to make a fair trade for ToI, but if you like I can mail what I have to you for the cost of shipping. Think if it as a starter to your future Netrunner collection. Send me a private message if you're interested.

-Will

Okay gang, I've got a copy of Imperium Romanum II (WEG) for trade.

It's unpunched (we used to use a friend's copy to play in college), and in good shape.

If you want an Ancients type of game that emphasizes the studiousness of wargames (the designer deliberately made scenarios so that they would be historically accurate, and not balanced) this might be a game you'd be interested in. I've come to the realization that it's not going to get any real play, so I'd be happier if it went to a person who will play it.

Any takers?

Damnit ML. Where were you 2 months ago with this? I'm now nuts-deep in the new SPQR [and going back to the dozen issues of C3i I have, all of which seem to have additional SPQR crap in them, which I had previously ignored] and just can't take on any more sandal-based warfare at this point. Good game though...

Replied by bryce0lynch on topic New Trade/Sell list
I'm doing a MAJOR downsize on my collection. I'm looking to trade or sell the following. I'm giving priority to trades, otherwise it's the first offer. No cost shipping (if a trade) otherwise actual cost of your favorite method. I'll give a commission to The Fortress. Prices are general 75% of Thougthammer, or just under the median eBay price for OOP. Take a close look at the lower priced/$5 entries, most are pretty nifty little games. If you notice a pricing/value problem then slap me upside the head and I'll fix it. Most have been lightly played, if at all, and are in great shape.

Hmm ... that's an awfully small want list for a really big have list. Are you open to other offers?

Indeed, a very small want list... I'm interested in having a second copy of Battlestations and Dungeon Twister + expansion but have neither excess moneys nor any of the games on that list. :pinch:

Alright guys, I'm looking to buy, maybe trade for, a complete copy of Heroes for Dungeonquest.

I know it's pricey, but I musthave it.

Now run along and ask your gaming buddies if they want to make a few bucks.
