Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)

Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.

× WELCOME TO TRASHDOME!

This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting (i.e. voting for) it. Please make it clear for when I check the bets later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.

Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;

Two games enter! One game leaves!

Trashdome - RoboRally VS Wiz-War

Not looking good for those little warriors Steve - you better bury them deep man.

Wiz-War

I want pics of melting minis and anything else that occurs during the "meeting".

To those who have said that RoboRally is too long, have you tried playing with the "short" maps that come in the more recent edition? I read somewhere that Garfield said he regrets asking new players to devise their own maps.

(I haven't played either, but now I'm interested in picking up a copy of RoboRally.)

The game length for RoboRally tends to be directly proportionate to the number of boards and flags used. Play on a single board with one or two flags and you should have a very short game.

We usually play on a single board with 3 flags, and games are over in about 20 minutes. It's just right and I've no intention of trying bigger maps.

I don't remember if I've played Wiz War. But I have played RoboRally and it is both fun and frustrating at times....

Vote: RoboRally

Echo Mad Dog. If you want a shorter, chaotic game use only one board, put 4 flags, 2 into each corner, so that you always have bots crossing each other. Laser on top of the head, let the mayhem begin. This has to be played with the right people, i.e. Ameritrashers, but which game doesn't. I especially like the race track ( see Race Track 1 ).

VOTE: Robo-Rally. All the way.

He won't - who do you think runs the factory playing God ?

And I just lost against my 11yr old lad yesterday after doing my usual - getting one card wrong and running off the board, but it is a record for me as I managed to do it three times so he won without finishing :-)))

There's at least one god who clearly likes Stephen Avery's miniatures!
An excellent result that all true ATers should be proud of.
(Even though we don't get melted minis!)
