Avatars: Are they who they seem to be?

Just to jump onto the bandwagon here I went ahead and shortened my handle a bit to something more humble. And changed my avatar to one of my favorite characters in all of puppet television.

Alright, I'm in.

My original avatar was a different Guile pic, but here's to the classic 16-bit hero.

Not changing mine, but for those outside the Mutant Chronicle fandom, my avatar is a Trencher from the 32nd Trencher Battalion of Imperial Corporation. The artwork is done by Paul Bonner, who's an artist I absolutely love.

I remember back when you were Jack Hooligan. It took me seriously like six months to realize that Jeff White was the same guy when you changed your avatar last time.

Yeah, I had a few other folks say the same thing when I changed my avatar a few years back. I didn't realize how much I (we) equate avatars with posters.

I've tried to focus on the poster names, but usually just use the avatars to scan the forums to see if there's been any recent postings.

This was an intro to my hardcore "Asian" film experience/obsession (?). The sheer amount of fantastic Korean, Chinese, Japanese cinema still makes my head reel. So many great titles, so very little time.

Let me flex my useless F:AT knowledge here...At one time he mentioned that it stood for Dragon Pass which was (perhaps still is) his favorite game. The avatar he uses is a token in the game as well.

Ah, Battle Royale, not a big surprise. I have had it in my movie queue for a year or two, but with small kids there never seems to be time to watch a horrendously violent film.
