First of all, happy Father's Day to all other FATtie daddies here (especially the new ones like me!)

How did you make out for Father's Day 2011?

Man, I CLEANED up for my first father's day.

-new work shoes (nice and fancy Italian-lookin' ones, super comfortable)
-new work blazer to wear as jacket to work. Complements my relatively new shirts nicely.

but best of all...

three coupons:

1) One backyard clean-up veto - every Sunday, i gotta clean up my backyard after our two big dogs and mow the lawn. It's no big deal but it's literally one full shlt bucket when I'm done and then I got a push-manual-lawnmower which is a workout. So yeah, this coupon gets me off the hook once when I wanna relax (wait a sec... that means I'll prolly have to look after the baby then...)

2) One free video gamin' weekend. A weekend where we don't leave the house and I can play all the games I want (like I used to pre-Emily) and my wife bring me tea when I want. Holy crap this is the best coupon ever. I think I'll use it one of the next two long weekends. (also some sexy perks I just noticed in the fineprint, man I married the best girl evah)

3) One free casino weekend - this one is insane and I'm not sure I'll use it. I get to go with friends to any casino I want for a weekend (local, indian, Foxwoods, Vegas, whatever). Pretty crazy and awesome. Not sure I'll use it but it's an awesome gift.

...oh, and a nice card.

pretty awesome. I think i'm spoiled cuz it's my first father's day. Next year I'll prolly get a technocoloured tie like I used to get for my dad.

Yesterday my two boys hosted a pool party. Which means I got to work my ass off cleaning, shopping and grilling for all the guests. So today I got a pass to not do a damn thing. I fully intend to use it too!

Happy Fathers' Day to all the Dads out there.

-Will

Happy Father's Day to all you F:ATie dads.

I love Father's Day. I told the Man he could do anything he wants today and buy himself something special. When I woke up this morning, he was already out of the house. The Spawn is visiting her grand-dad. It is so awesomely quite in my house.

I got a Scooby Doo balloon, Cars 2 coloring book, and an Optimus Prime talking card. Yeah... my kids are 2 and 3.

Still cool though, my oldest brought them to me like priceless treasures, pretty funny and special to me.

I did get to order some Savage Worlds Deadlands stuff as well, so good score all around.

Eggs, Bacon and sausage patties. Served to me on the couch while I watched Sportscenter. This was followed by the expectation that I can do absolutely nothing for the day. Hopefully, this will be followed by some gaming with the family this afternoon.

Happy Fathers Day everyone. I barely slip in there (19 days).

An EB games gift card and several full diapers. Tomorrow a lobster is added to the list (Night shift tonight so I can't enjoy it today).

You want to do Mohegan Sun, it's better than Foxwoods. Either way, you show up in CT, we might need to do some gamblin' together.

Ok, I tried and I am officially too dumb to use the internet. I never understood how to post photo's and I still don't get it.

But I promise you he is adorable.

Sunderland Morley George Russell (all family names) was born June 1st. I know I didn't post anything about it but I was a little timid and was unsure of the appropriateness but you guys are as close to friends as internet dudes get so I imagine it's cool.

It's also why I haven't been around much lately.

...but I think you have to be my friend on FB first which I'm totally cool with. Jacob Russell and i have a pretentious shot of me holding my mandolin. It's brutal!

My daughter made me a powerpoint presentation with photos of me and the kids and maudlin country music. It made me look pretty doggone good.

I'll want to lose a few pounds before the next one though.

HA! Sometimes I think we need a birth announcement forum just so I can keep up with all the new babies. I think Barney still owes me pictures. One thing I can say about F:AT dudes: their plumbing is certainly in working order.
