Very group dependent but this can be a ton of fun.

Deep, satisfying routes game that randomizes every time. The supply and demand system is brilliant on a number of different levels.

Firefly is neither a great pick up and deliver routes game nor a great adventure game but an average somewhere between both.

Lots of stuff in this expansion for the wonderful Clash. Most of it is a hit---the new city pieces associated with the other tech trees, the pirate units, the leaders are interesting and speed up the opening of the game.

The greatest worker placement game.

Slightly torn on this game. It's a fun dexterity game but the asymetric player sides feel a little weird... and the original 3rd printing has some pretty screwed up balance that encourages the dungeonmaster to pull their punches. On the other hand, it plays quickly and is self-contained which is attractive.

They nailed the system. Generated a full evening game that was deeper and longer than X-wing but wasn't too involved. Toy factor is great too. Ships last for several turns so don't feel like large scale fighters but aren't so durable that you won't see ships melt under fire. List building is fun if not taken to excess, balance feels good as an amateur, and the parallel systems (fighter/ship) work just right.

A great entry into the Pax series, with a wobbling board state that is competely upset by structural changes to trade routes. Relative to Pax Porfiriana, this is a less punishing game that makes it much more difficult for opponents to clear your board and strip your tableau. Despite the bizarre and upsetting rulebook material, the game itself is actually a fascinating take on European development that resembles a narrative like Charles Tilly's.

If it isn't the best cooperative game ever, it's extremely close.

On the whole, Seal Team Flix is an innovative game with a shockingly low price that manages to salvage dungeon crawl games for me. I generally play the game solo---it is quite amenable to being played that way---and when I have a little time for setup it is an extremely welcome diversion.
