War of the Ring is frickin' amazing but I gotta give the edge on Twilight Struggle. It's just as fun but takes less time to play so auto-win

A sock puppet account is an additional user account created by an existing user, only under a different name.

Alright, I guess it's time for me to fess up. I'm actually Wolfgang Kramer, I created the "Michael Barnes" personalty to denigrate my archrival, Rudiger Dorn, into the ground and talk bad about a lot of Eurogames. But slowly, it consumed me until I could no longer distinguish between the sock puppet and myself. So I guess I will be Michael Barnes from now on.

As for the voting this week, more and more suspicion of mismanagement is starting to creep in. The vote was miscounted, and after scandals such as Muppetgate and the questionable (at best) victory of ARKHAM HORROR over DUNE, I'm sure there are many who are questioning the authority of Trashdome to truly decide which games rule the wasteland. The vote was clearly 19 to 18,which demonstrates that both games are on a even keel. However, Mad Dog may have intentionally miscounted in order to characterize this as more of a victory than it actually is. 21 to 18 sounds more decisive, but if he had gone 25 to 18 more eyebrows would have been raised. The whole thing is suspect, and I'm starting to wonder if it won't be long before the shadow government of F:AT, which seems to include among its members Mad Dog, Richard Launius, and the Nexus folks, is openly dictating the winners of Trashdome.

the last website I used to frequent more often before I came here, i got accused of creating a sock puppet account (my good friend matt who was posting all this time too) and I had no idea what I was being accused of. Now it makes sense.

As this Trashdome occurred during the week preorders have started for the 2000 Limited Edition WotR sets - at $400 - and people are worried they mightn't get a copy (!!), it seems a just result.

Now if TS had used a proper board right from the 1st edition, and provided lots of cold-war A&A type minis (with A&A chips to show the influence amounts) then it might of had a chance ;-p

I list people's names and not just the totals so mistakes are easier spotted. I could write a game had a 1000 votes, but that wouldn't change the actual results based on the posts in the thread.

TS: 19
