Hah. Since moving to the land of Famous Potatoes, I don't have a gaming group. My brothers-in-law are vaguely aware of BGG, I don't think either of them have accounts. F:AT is not on their radar.

My old group knew of BGG, and we would use it for quick rules lookups if things got sticky, but I don't think any of them ever bothered to register. I've always lived way the hell out of the way of every other F:ATtie, (except Dukester, who I never met while I was in Reno).

Someday I need to get out East for a game.

Sorry, I guess I was trying to forget the Angry German Kid. I'm sure I forgot a few people. It's easier to remember people in 2-player online games than in multiplayer online games.

WBC - World Board Gaming Championship It's usually the first week in August in Lancaster, PA.

I was hoping to get into bar room fight with Southernman when we met but no such luck.

Most of my group has visited TOS at one point or another, maybe one has an account. They've heard about this site, but I don't think they've ever stepped foot here (except for one guy I pointed to forums when he was contemplating getting an iPad for board games). I'm their primary source for board game news and buy the majority of the games.

As for meeting any F:ATties, unless I've accidentally bumped into you at GenCon I haven't met a single one of you. But, I'm new.

Like Black Barney said, he and Enrique are the only ones I've met IRL. I have a variety of gaming 'groups' but none of them are on here, really.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only local connection but I do always try to talk this site up. A lot of people semi-active on TOS. WDGrant is up north of me but we haven't been able to get any F2F time.

I've gamed with the TrashFesties, hung with BillyZ at GenCon (Which was awesome sauce, distilled), and then inadvertantly ditched him with Colby Dauch and company to go outside with the smokers while they were getting stoned. Came back and Billy had disappeared.

None of my friends are remotely familiar with BGG or F:AT. Fuck, the only blog they've ever heard of is mine, and it's because they're often quoted in it or have their photos in it. Luddites, the lot of them.

I guess Dale Yu is a member here, and I've played with him once, and he's local.

As far as I know, nobody I game with visits this site. Most are into AT games and culture, but they'd probably have a hard time rolling with some of the more trashier trash talk that happens around here.

One of my gaming buddies registered and posted once in the I'm New Here thread, or whatever it is called. A lot of them use BGG, but I don't think they are forum regulars there either.

I think the only person I've met IRL is Pete. Brewmeister, we need to get together sometime.

I hope to make it to Trashfest this year and game with as many of you as possible.
