Camp Grizzly

Shell - the rules suggest playing with more campers per player if you're playing less than 6. With 2 players I'd definitely do 2 campers each, in which case the game works very well.

I've played with the first expansion now and find some of the new elements pretty good. Cooties is weird though as I really like the card and effects, but I really hate that it's a survival card which actually hurts you. Starting off with that being one of your survival cards is brutal. This is the type of game I care less about this than in something highly competitive, but it still feels a little off. It really should let you draw an additional survival card if you pull it.

Harmful survival cards have always been in the game.

Interesting. I don't recall any others but it's been a long time since I've played and we didn't see any others in these two plays.

They’re usually very situational and have only a small chance of coming into play. We had Cooties in our game yesterday and it wasn’t a big deal.

We had Cooties too and it wasn't a big deal, I think it was mostly just mildly annoying as it takes away an opportunity for some cool spotlight time or starting off with an ability.

I pulled the trigger. We will see.

I AM A F*(#$ING IDIOT.
I knew I wanted a copy of Camp Grizzly.
I knew I wanted a copy of the Camp Grizzly expansions.
I knew I wanted the Camp Grizzly miniatures.
Expansions? Check.
Miniatures? Check.
The actual game? NOPE.
I thought, "it's cool. My wife or BGG Secret Santa will have no problem getting this game via Amazon. I did all of the hard work getting the HTF stuff!"

And now it's sold out. The game IS SOLD OUT.

So good job Dufus. I could have bought this damn thing countless times in the past 2-3 years. But I just kept passing.

I didn't fuck around with the expansions. I was on those like white on rice. The miniatures? Got them too.

But I really cocked up my holiday gifted strategy. Damnit! I should have just bought the game for myself like every other hobby project.
