WELCOME TO TRASHDOME!
This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting (i.e. voting for) it. Please make it clear for when I check the bets later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.
Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;
Two games enter! One game leaves!

Hey, I'd be glad to play the BUFFY game to see if it's any good. But the only person I know who even owns it is Branham,and he's never brought it out. I might even change my mind. But for now, I'm a hardline BETRAYAL supporter.

So put these three facts together and prove your case. Convince Tom to courier me his copy of Buffy for next day delivery and I'll play it Friday night. If it's as bad as you claim then I'll change my vote to Betrayal.

Hey, I never said the game was bad...I've just been ragging on the license and the fans. The game might be great- it's Rob Daviau, isn't it? He does good stuff.
Anyway, if you look at the title of this thread it clearly states "Buffy TVS" versus BETRAYAL. That's BUFFY TEE VEE SHOW, isn't it?
(Heh heh...clever loophole...gives me an escape plan if this vote goes south...)

All this "but that's the show, not the game!" talk reminds me of the people who defend their Euros with comments like, "the theme may suck, but it doesn't matter, aren't the mechanisms splendid?".
