WELCOME TO TRASHDOME!
This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting (i.e. voting for) it. Please make it clear for when I check the bets later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.
Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;
Two games enter! One game leaves!

Hooray! For a while there I was worried. Now I'm not saying MN is a bad game but I am definitely saying that Civ is the better game.

I thought that the second half of this was going to bury CIV, but it looks like Truth and Justice have prevailed once again.
MARE NOSTRUM is an honorable game though. I'm sure we'll see it back in Trashdome someday, and on a competitive footing too.

Well, I just figured since everyone has a newfound affinity for cubes around here, why not vote for Mare Nostrum? But having not played Civ, it does look like it has awesome components though. Additionally, from the the case made for it, I'm sure it is a worthy winner.
Personally, I would like to see Shogun/Wallenstein in the Trashdome, if it hasn't been in already.
