Clash of Heroes is a total joy

I love Puzzle Quest on the PSP, that looks similar and perfect for a mobile game.

Clash of Heroes is phenomenal. Fun fact: there is a mobile game with very similar mechanisms called Legend of Solgard. It's quite good.

PUZZLE QUEST (the first one) was really good. CLASH OF HEROES is also match-3, for the most part; but the writing is phenomenal. It is so charming! I wish well to everyone that worked on that game, they deserve happiness.

The first Puzzle Quest was really good. Except that the AI is a goddamn cheater.

The game definitely started off weakly. I got mildly interesting, when at the normal difficulty I could be *anything*. Then I hit 70, and got one key gear that suits my playstyle. Searched online about kanai cube, gambling, etc... then it becomes one of the must dumb fun game I've ever played. It's definitely a numbers game (billions now), but the fast paced action is really fun--most numbers game games are slow; they rely on the numbers to keep things interesting. Not Diablo. Keeping your buffs up, getting out of the way of telegraphed attacks...

But it's definitely best in short bursts. My current favorite mode is Greater Rift, which is a timed dungeon you need to finish in 15 minutes (generally I finish in 5-10 minutes, depending on the difficulty picked). But some crafting ingredients only drop on Nephalem Rift, which is about 2-3 times longer, and less densely packed (less fun for me).

Going to get my DIABLO 3 Witch Doctor to 70 tonight, finish the second Seasonal Quest and see what starts happening. I'm on Torment I now and some set items are starting to drop, so it could get fun. Some of the Rift layouts are so obnoxious.

I don't see any details in my archive, but I do see both of my Zoltan wins with Advanced (one A, one B ). So I would guess flak guns and ion guns, probably with a hacking unit to break the missiles.

I ended up winning with the combo of "hack n flak." Hack the missiles, flak the shields, use the base halberd beam that comes with the A to bring it down. Seems to be a good strategy for a weapons heavy build. I had the cloak too to deal with the drone and super weapon spam. Only had 1 hull though, so it's not fool-proof... or maybe it is because I'm a fool.

Tried the mantis ship through a couple sectors - it's hilarious, but it sucks against automated scouts and Launius.

Creed put out a new update with new boxers from the older Rocky movies: Ivan Drago, Clubber Lang, Apollo Creed, Classic Rocky.

I hate most games now, but I’m tempted by Vermintide 2 on the PS4. But I may not have enough time to play it outside of odd hours with randoms, which could make it suck

Vermintide 2 is great with people you know. But I'd almost rather play with the bots than some of the randoms I've played with.

I'm a bad random in Overwatch. No mic. I'll flex and play any role, but I'm definitely less good at a lot of them. I've done quite a bit of "every life you get a new random hero," just to embrace it and learn more heroes, but what really ends up happening is that I'm useless when I get put on Doomfist,* Hanzo, Genji, or something.

*When you use voice to search for him on my phone, it comes up with Doofus. I think this is appropriate.
