Just to make sure I found this.... is it:
Warning: Spoiler!

I now have 33 crew members solved. I have a couple of others for whom I have clearly made some wrong assumptions, but I'm chipping away. They really make you guess sometimes, which isn't great, but I am really interested to see the story in its entirety.

gahhhhh.... so I think I had 39 characters solved on Obra Dinn. The boat guy who rowed you there at the beginning yells at you that a storm is coming, and to hurry up. You are given the opportunity to get on the boat, and he says something about making sure your business is done, you won't be back, etc.

I was fairly clueless on the remaining people, and wasn't entirely sure that the game didn't want me to just leave, and some story function would allow me to continue the investigation, so I left the ship.

YOU DON'T GET TO GO BACK. DON'T LEAVE UNLESS YOU ARE DONE / HAVE HAD ENOUGH.

You can't get all the people until you get off. It will provide additional scenes later so you can solve everyone.

I watched the credits, it said the end and took me back to title. Were they pranking me?

I would look up a guide to be sure. Basically, you get a "30 years later" if you've gotten everybody you can, which provides a couple more elaborating scenes and lets you finish the book.

When you load back in you can choose Rewind which puts you back on the boat. I am now at 45. I haven't seen any extra scenes yet, though.

My Thursday night gaming buddies are still chipping away at Borderlands 3. It ticks all of our collective boxes.

I got bored with it too quick. Nothing wrong with it, just more Borderlands.

I recently finished the Battletech main campaign, and started a Career in Ironman mode. We'll see how that works out - I haven't gone broke yet, and only got one pilot (not counting myself) killed. It's taken up all of my PC gaming time.

I've been working through the main campaign and exploring all the systems. It is easy to farm money and gather a lance of heavy mechs before advancing the main story very much. I do enjoy the game more than I thought I would. It really captures the tabletop feel right down to the build freedom.

That's what I did; after one particularly tough campaign mission I just flew around and made money for about a week of real time. The Argo was built up until hell wouldn't have it, and I had a stable full of heavy mechs.

Finished Obra Dinn. I correctly identified everyone on my own, but ended up looking up a couple of the causes of death because they were super obscure.

I really enjoyed this game overall. I'd love to see an animated film of it. Or a live action, really.

Started playing Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls on PS3. After a couple false starts I created a party that's doing okay so far. The game is very hard and very grindy. It also exactly the kind of old-school dungeon crawl that I've been yearning for lately. Don't know how far I'll get into it but its kind of relaxing in a way just exploring the dungeon, having combats, and leveling up. Wash, rinse, repeat. There is no real story, open-world, or even town to walk around in. You are either in a dungeon with first-person pov or you're looking at a menu.

DARK SOULS REMASTERED on the Switch. I had this on the 360 back in ye olden days, and I remember just enough to make it really fresh and interesting. I know I shouldn't kill that early shopkeeper right away, but I also remember he drops some bombass thing, and maybe I should? I know that bridge is BAD and involves running. I know shit hits the fan when I flip that switch, and so on. It's a romp.
