I like the new layout. I like the board games/trashtalk/site tools trichotomy with pull downs at the top. Clean and simple.

Our reader's hardware and browsers have finally caught up with the internet. We were held back from using drop down and flyout menus by so many people's work computers running IE7 long after it was obsolete. We almost had a riot the first time I put in drop down menus years ago. I had to revert to static menus.

Now I'm just waiting for Sag to come in and say he can't read the menu because it is too small/not black.

Every time I scroll up that menu bar overlays the page and I have to scroll down a click to get rid of it. Also currently I feel I have to zoom 75% to get most text to be a comfortable size, which shrinks other elements. Maybe I missed a setting though.

How do I turn off the floating title bar?

Edit -- sorry, didn't mean to double-post on JEM's issue.

The default text size is 16px which is pretty large (the old site was 12px). Clear your browser cache. Make sure you have your zoom set to actual size. Consider reading glasses.

LOL. I mixed you up with the dude that has been complaining that the text was too small. Can we compromise on 14px default text and a text sizer to be implemented before the end of the week?

ETA: The default has been set to 14px.

Have you put the "donate to F:AT" button back somewhere and I'm just missing it? I really appreciate the work you've done to spiff the place up.

Please consider removing the header bar from the mobile site.

I already know I am on fortressat. I already know that if I scroll to the top of the page that I can navigate from there.

It blocks a significant portion of real estate on the screen. The keyboard already hordes 50%of that, and you're taking up another 25%.

This is a poor trend that site are doing for their mobile sites. Please don't feed into this ridiculous trend.

Though oddly this only occurs when screen is oriented horizontally. Vertically, the header dissappears when i scroll down.

Android 4.2

Virtually unusable horizontally in android. My fingers are too big for vertical typing, so I'm off the forums and PMs unless I have my laptop open.

Annoying on my laptop, but serviceable.

Exactly. The only reason I use it horizontally is so I can type. The banner defeats the entire purpose of this...

Sorry, that's not supposed to happen. Once the screen gets below a certain width or a certain height the header is supposed to pin itself. So you got a Nook? What do have Sag? Either of you know what your screen size is? Well at least no ones complaining that the site doesn't work on IE7.
