What KICKSTARTER(S) are you BACKING and WHY?

I'm pretty sure for the price they are asking, even without the miniatures, since I have no interest in them.... I'll be passing. If I see the core box for sale again in the future, perhaps I'll pick it up.

I ended up backing STONETOP. The combination of PBTA, plus cozy YA hearth fantasy, plus a five-year cycle of development and refinement ... that’s at least -15 to my Will save.

Seriously, I fucking adore that game and I didn't even consider KS this thing. That plastic fort is one of the silliest KS "upgrades" I have personally seen on a game I know.

Yes, Mythic Battles. I thought it would be less confusing than just saying "Pantheon", should have just spelled it out.

Agree on Crusoe. I backed down to the book of adventures (and probably don't even need that). Certainly don't need a cardboard volcano dice tower, especially (as indicated) it doesn't smoke.

The next installment of the Marvel United, X-Men: rise of the Mutants, is dropping in 10 days. My weakness for these figs is well documented. I hope to have the first MU painted before the new one arrives.

Storm Weavers - A gamebook with small boards and standees for combat. I like the concept except they should have done a few generic tokens instead of standees and cut space in the back of the book to store them. I wouldn't want random components lying around while the book is on a shelf. I don't think I'm backing anyways as I'm dubious of the writing quality from an unknown. Especially as it's translated to English.

Darkpass - I'm not really into dungeon crawlers anymore but occasionally something interesting pops up. Here the characters are just working class folks trying to adventure their way out of the 1854 Paris sewers. I like its simple footprint without a bunch of card decks or piles of tokens or plastic minis for every monster. Read the rulebook and will probably back.
