It's not quite $10 but I'm planning to grab Secret of Mana with the inevitable iTunes giftcard. Such a great game. I've been really pleased with the ports of FFI and FFII but I'm mildly concerned about the controls being harder to get right in a more fast paced action game like SoM. Anyone got it yet?

There are a ton of great sales/freebies right now. My I dunno if I'll ever catch up with the slew of quality content on there.

The Catan app is on sale till the end of the year, is it any good? I love me some Catan but I dunno if I need yet another version of it unless it's spot on.

I heard the Catan app was kind of shitty. if you're looking for something CARC qaulity, look elsewhere.

As for the sales, get BIT.TRIP RUNNER, MIRROR'S EDGE, FRUIT NINJA, and BOGGLE so I can fuck you up across the Internets. I should add the BOGGLE is kind of a shitty implementation: 4x4 only, no bonus cube, 4-letter words score 1 (?), you can't ban 3-letter words, &c.

I just finished beating the final levels of Peggle. I still can't stop playing it. I'm going to try for Grand Master status now.

Check it out... Pitch Car: appshopper.com/games/disc-drivin

It's quite good, and there are some extra powers you can use. There's also a free version, which is fully functioning but has some ads.

QWOP for IOS.

I can not possibly explain the appeal of this incredibly stupid game. There's a flash version available, but the IOS version is better.

Qwop is an incredibly bad track and field athelete. You've got two diamond control zones that control the extension of Qwop's arms and legs. Your goal is try to get him to run (more like fumble, trip, wobble, and tumble) as far as possible. It's INCREDIBLY hard because of how the physics work. It took me about 50 tries before I could even get 10 meters/

But it's also hilarious. Every time you fall, it takes a snapshot of poor Qwop with a funny as hell headline. "Qwop Arrested", "Riot at Stadium", and so on.

It was a dollar. And it's better than FRUIT NINJA.

I've been playing the hell out of Westbang . It's a tap shooter, and I'm generally not fond of those, but something about this just clicks. Surprisingly addictive.

Game Dev Story. It's fucking awesome. It's a video game production company sim. Totally silly early 90s vibe, very tongue in cheek and super addicting.

Yeah, I got GAME DEV STORY too when it was on sale last week. It's very cute. I love it when somebody asks to do something on a project and they fuck it up. The bugs pile up, and I fire them. There is a lot of watching in the game, which gets kind of old...but it may be because I played it for like five hours one day last week, rare for an IOS game.

Tough game...I can't seem to get a #1 and I seem to peak at a certain point before things turn to shit. Maybe it's because all my games have porno titles...BUTTFUCK NINJA, ANAL MARIO, LEATHERBOY AND THE BEAR, FINAL BLOWJOB, DOGGYSTYLE 2, COCK OF DUTY...

I'm in year 15 and riding high. I still can't seem to find a goddamn hardware engineer so I can make my own console though. At this point I'm getting #1 selling games every release, moving upwards of 20 million copies each.

I agree about it getting kinda old watching so much, but then you still can't put the fucker down.

All my games have quality names, I follow a developer wide branding plan. Here's a screen cap from a few days ago...

Fuck in Time went on to a bunch of super successful sequels. But nothing so far has topped my motion based "swimsuit" game hahaha

Strongholds: A great little 2 player tactical card battle. I've only played it once, so I'm not sure how the depth or replayability is, but so far I really like it.

Reiner Knizia's Teocalli: A nice little solo dice game with some mildly interesting decisions to make.

Thief Lupin: A fun little app where you have to work out the timing of getting your guy across the floor, with different functions on each level. Nice use of the one-button style. It's free, but apparently you have to pay for some of the additional towers. But so far I've gotten some good play time out of what's there.

Hey Grudunza, any update on the depth and/or replayability of Strongholds?
